Today we announced the trade of defender Carlos Salcedo to Toronto FC, who after three years with our institution, will be leaving the team. We would also like to welcome the venezuelan national, Yeferson Soteldo.

Salcedo arrived on January 2019 and today he leaves with a Liga MX Championship in Clausura 2019, a Concacaf titles and a second place in the FIFA Club World Cup, participating in 112 games between the League, Playoffs, World Cup, Concacaf and Leagues Cup.

Soteldo will join the team once his participation with the Venezuelan National Team during the Conmebol qualifier ends.

Soteldo arrives to Tigres at the age of 24, with extensive international experience. He has already played in Zamora (Venezuela), Huachipato (Chile), U. of Chile (Chile), Santos (Brazil) and in Toronto FC (Canada).

The Venezuelan has several distinctions in South America. He was chosen as the best player in the Chilean league, the best player of Santos, of the Paulista League, and was in the best XI  teams of America and the Libertadores Cup.
