Our Academy gets ready with international matches

NEXT STOP, EUROPE

The Club Tigres Academy is taking the spotlight, and this time internationally, snatching a third place in the Manchester City Cup in the U-14 category.

They finished the tournament (held in San Diego, California) undefeated in its group stage, beating Seattle, Los Angeles FC, and Beach FC, all three by 1-0. In the Quarterfinals, they also beat Los Angeles Galaxy by the minimum.

The only defeat was in the Semifinal when they lost 2-1 to Xolos de Tijuana, and for the third place, they beat LAFC 5-1. Diego Carrillo was their top scorer, with three goals in the tournament.

NEXT STOP, EUROPE

In June and July, the international participation of our Academy continues, and this time in Europe. The U-16 category will travel to Madrid, Spain, to participate in the MadCup 2022 between June 24 and 29.

Then it will be the turn of our U-18 category, coached by Luis Ramírez. They will be in the Czech Republic between July 21 and 26 to participate in the CEE Cup 2022, and later, from July 27 to August 1, they will be in Switzerland in the Aesch Cup.

The U-20 category will also have international activity, first in the United States, by holding a tour of Indiana and Michigan between June 21 and 27. Their rivals will be Flint City Bucks, Inter Detroit, and Fort Wayne FC. After that, between July 13 and 23, those led by Hernán Elizondo will travel to the Netherlands to face PSV, Ajax, and Feyenoord.
