Bayern and Tigres Femenil worked on behalf of 65 girls and young women

A final reflection was made with the 65 participants so that they could achieve their goals in 2023.

The alliance between Tigres Femenil and Bayern Munich went far beyond a friendly match at the Volcán, and it also allowed to strengthen ties off the pitch to organize a gathering in support of a social cause.

Sixty-five girls and young women from four women’s teams in Monterrey lived experiences such as a Meet & Greet with players from Tigres Femenil and Bayern Freuen and experienced a youth Bootcamp that integrated the sports and social part.

The teams that enjoyed this experience, thanks to the first edition of the Amazon Cup, were the TIGRES Academy – CEMEX Planta Monterrey, the Amazonas Academy, the España Solidaridad team, and Boca Juniors San Nicolás.

In collaboration with Curveball, the girls were able to meet Bayern Freuen players Sarah Zadrazil and Glódis Perla Viggósdóttir, as well as Tigres Femenil’s Ofelia Solís and Fernanda Elizondo. They got to ask questions, receive autographs, and take pictures with them.

The youth Bootcamp experience aimed to generate a social-sports experience to foster resilience and a growth mindset as fundamental tools to achieve personal and group goals. They also reinforced personal development skills through technical, tactical soccer exercises and promoted women leaders’ participation in women’s soccer.

A final reflection was made with the 65 participants so that they could achieve their goals in 2023.
