Tigres joins the greats of world football and will launch its fan token in Socios.com

Club Tigres UANL announces an alliance with Chiliz, the leading company in blockchain solutions for the sports industry. It will soon launch its official Fan Token $TIGRES through Socios.com, the platform used by the world’s leading sports organizations to interact with their fans, and it will be available on Bitso.
Fan Tokens are digital assets that facilitate interaction between sports clubs and their fans. For the first time, a new tool gives fans a say in some of the Club’s decisions and the option to see their passion and loyalty rewarded with multiple prizes.
Fan Token owners can participate in their team’s decisions, choosing, for example, the design of the kit or captain’s armband, the number of a new signing, the name of a new club facility, and other topics by voting through Socios.com, a mobile app that houses a global community of more than 1.5 million fans in the sport.
Once the $TIGRES Fan Token is available for sale, only for the following 21 days it can be purchased worldwide through the Bitso platform and, later, once that period has ended, this Marketplace will be Exclusive for sale in Mexico.
The Socios.com app, available for iOS and Android, is an innovative digital ecosystem tokenized and gamified through multiple functionalities. Each interaction is rewarded with points the user can redeem for prizes such as signed t-shirts, free tickets, encounters with players, and unique experiences.
Tigres is one of the most successful clubs in Mexican football. Since its founding in 1960, it has won seven league titles, a Concacaf Champions League, and a runner-up finish at the FIFA Club World Cup. Through this alliance, Tigres adds its name to that of giants of world football on both sides of the Atlantic, such as Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, AC Milan, Arsenal, Juventus, Atlético de Madrid, River Plate or Flamengo, among others, who have already launched their Fan Tokens with Socios.com. UFC and PFL, Formula 1 teams, esports clubs, and more than 50 franchises of the major professional leagues in the United States (NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLS) also use this platform.
