Starting in October 2021, and aware of the importance of prevention, Tigres now offers special coverage within the Major Medical Expenses Insurance to the female staff (direct employees, as well as daughters and wives of employees) for preventive procedures against breast and ovarian cancer.

This initiative, led by CEMEX in collaboration with the insurance agent Marsh and the insurer AXA, has made it possible to provide this benefit to the women who are part of Tigres, granting access to preventive procedures such as prophylactic mastectomy and oophorectomy.

With this, CEMEX and Tigres are pioneers in this type of plan, as these procedures are generally not included in insurance programs in Mexico, making us the first company in Mexico to include this benefit within a Major Medical Expenses Insurance policy.
