Free mammograms for a better quality of life
At Tigres, it’s not all about soccer, and one of our main pillars within the area of Social Responsibility is the promotion of sports and health activities aimed at improving people’s quality of life.
At Tigres, it’s not all about soccer. One of our main pillars within the Social Responsibility area is the promotion of health and sports activities aimed at improving people’s quality of life. Since 2014, we have been running a permanent awareness and prevention campaign for breast cancer every October.
As part of this program, in partnership with the IMSS (Mexican Institute of Social Security) and the Ministry of Health of Nuevo León, we offer free mammograms and Pap smears at the Estadio Universitario for women over the age of 40.
This initiative, which has benefited 1,120 women, is complemented by prevention talks aimed at our female employees and the female family members of our colleagues.
